Digital Storytelling at Scale
AARP had never attempted immersive long-form web storytelling, and no workflow existed to make it possible. As creative lead, I worked across editorial, development, and design to build the visual language and production infrastructure from the ground up — print features becoming launching pads for richer digital experiences, with extended narratives, original photography, illustration, infographics, and video woven into a single cohesive piece. What began as trial and error is now a repeatable, scalable system, and a Webby nomination on its first attempt confirmed we’d gotten it right.
